My Fave Vintage Home Finds
There is just something about buying a vintage lamp or a vintage coffee table, firstly knowing that unlike a piece of Ikea furniture (nothing wrong with Ikea, huge fan!) but knowing that this piece wont be in every other home and has its own history is so much more exciting. Every time I buy a new vintage piece I always wonder.. who’s home has this been in? How did they style it? Where did they originally buy this from?
As someone who is currently on a mission to replace all (ok maybe not all but as much as possible!) of their current furniture and home decor to have a majority vintage filled home. I am constantly searching for new vintage pieces to add to my home and wanted to share some recent pieces I am loving.
My most recent vintage find..
For the longest time I’d be looking for the perfect nightstands for our bedroom, it literally took me 2 years to find these and it was worth the wait! My boyfriend is not fussed at all when it comes to home stuff however his input into the nightstand search was.. they must have drawers! Our last bedside tables didn’t have drawers and I have to admit its quite annoying not having anywhere to put anything! So not only did I find the perfect nightstands, they also have drawers! These were a 1st Dibs find, I don’t tend to look on there much as sometimes things can be quite overpriced but these were so reasonably priced.
How I styled them
Very minimal styling for now, on the hunt for the perfect vintage table lamps, so this is the set up until then!
Whats in my nightstand..
Macbook, LV agenda, small Cartier Panthere watch, Rhode peptide lip treatment, Hermes cuticle oil, Chanel hand cream, Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream.
